Rango Character Poster Appears
Not too long ago we were treated to a very odd teaser trailer for Gore Verbinski’s Rango, and last week we got our first look at some of the characters that will inhabit the odd world, now, there’s a poster out in the open courtesy of FirstShowing.
If you’ve seen the teaser trailer you’ll know…not a lot, but it’s an intriguing premise (more details, though not too many more, at the links above), but you’ve never seen Johnny Depp quite like this.
The rest of the cast impresses immediately, as Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Harry Dean Stanton, Ray Winstone, and Timothy Olyphant make up a pretty formidable array of talent and with this poster of Rango himself (voiced by Johnny Depp) the character design of Verbinski’s animation gets its first airing – and is it just me or is there something here that suggests Fear and Loathing?
