The wait is over – here’s your first chance to see what Robert Rodriguez has in store for us this summer with the release of the first trailer for the Nimrod Antal directed Predators.
Adrien Brody stars with Laurence Fishburne, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Danny Trejo (who will hopefully dispatch one of the aliens with a Machete or two), Oleg Taktarov, Louiz Ozaw, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, and though a few names may not instantly jump out as action hero material this trailer puts all those fears to rest.
It’s an effectively shot trailer, giving just the right hint of Predator without spoiling it by revealing all of the film’s secrets. Those familiar with the Predator mythology will have a few chills as the screenshot above evidence, and while I’ll miss Jesse Ventura and maybe Arnie too, this film is looking better than ever.
