Coming out of The Lady and the Water and The Happening M.Night Shyamalan has a lot riding on his big screen, live-action adaptation of the Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko animation Avatar: The Last Airbender (the Avatar dropped for obvious reasons) looks to be turning heads and expectations with every new peek.
The SuperBowl spot impressed and the posters are building a decent picture of what we can expect with high flying martial arts and spectacular visuals, and the new trailer released by Paramount today gives us more of the same.
I’m just waiting for the inevitable M.Night cameo to crop up in a trailer.
July the 2nd is the US release date for this one, us Brits get it a month and a bit after on the 13th of August, a Friday…of course.
