I have to say that you guys are cheating by watching half the list each, i did it on my own in about 14 months. I have 3 kids and am a university student so its not like i have all the time in the world. I am not saying this to bash you or be a big ol' meanie but you are missing out on 120 kick ass movies (about 10 or so are pretty garbage and don't deserve to be on there). Anyway, try to watch all of them, it is really rewarding. I have watched all of the top 250. I tried to do a 52Days IMDb project last year (only 1 movie from the Top250 per week, but 1 I hadn't seen yet) and failed miserably. I'm loosely attempting it again this year, doing 4/5 movies per month. So far I'm kind of on schedule, having seen 4 movies in January, but nothing yet for February.<br><br>I saw The Thing two weeks ago at the VHSmovie club and I agree, it's a good horror movie that still stands its ground vs other horrors these days.
