The first trailer for Oliver Stone’s new sequel to the Wall Street classic has it’s first trailer. Michael Douglas stars in the new movie is called Wall Street: Money Never sleeps based on a line that Douglas’ character, Gordon Gekko delivers in the original movie which came out in 1987! I was the ripe old age of 7 then so I saw it a few years later.

This new trailer shows Gekko coming out of prison after a being in there for a many years. The prison guard starts to give him back his possessions, all of which are rather impressive until he pulls out the 1980’s mobile phone which isn’t so mobile in today’s standards!

Synopsis: Emerging from a lengthy prison stint, Gordon Gekko finds himself on the outside of a world he once dominated. Looking to repair his damaged relationship with his daughter, Gekko forms an alliance with her fiancé Jacob (Shia LaBeouf), and Jacob begins to see him as a father figure. But Jacob learns the hard way that Gekko – still a master manipulator and player – is after something very different from redemption.

Money Never Sleeps also stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Frank Langella, Carey Mulligan, Susan Sarandon, Vanessa Ferlito and Charlie Sheen returns for a cameo.

We should be getting it on our shores 23rd April 2010.
