HeyUGuys Win Best Newcomer in TotalFilm 2010 Movie Blog Awards
Well, the title pretty much says it all.
It’s a privilege to be nominated, and even more humbling to win this award. Film journalism is a rapidly changing industry and there are many new and impressive voices out there celebrating film, and to be a part of this is, above all else, a lot of fun.
We want to thank everyone who voted for us, TotalFilm for their nomination and for recognising that some of the best film writing is being done on the web and finally to our writers who make our corner of the web a great place to talk movies.
Also we must mention the blogging community, who have been incredibly supportive and the collegiate and friendly atmosphere encountered has made every day a pleasure.
Finally we want to thank everyone who has joined in over the last year, whether it’s arguing the merits (or lack thereof) of Avatar, or answering random questions on our Facebook group, taking a trip back in time via the Video Vault or just enjoyed reading our reviews and articles, it’s been a great year and 2010 will be even better.
It’s an exciting time and we’re very pleased to have you with us.
