Hangover Sequel Shooting this Autumn

While Bradley Cooper was particularly cagey with our questions about The A-Team on the Hangover Red Carpet last year he wasn’t so reticent when responding to the question of the sequel to the hugely successful comedy.

Movieline have the story that Cooper confirmed, when asked about the status of the sequel:

Yeah, we’re gonna do that in the fall. That’ll be a lot of fun.

The sequel was never in doubt, with Variety reporting that Warner Brothers asked director Todd Phillips to write a sequel before the first film hit cinemas, and the team of Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms made an impression on audiences and Warners are clearly betting on the second Hangover building on the success of the first.

An Autumn shoot will line things up nicely for a summer 2011 release, I’m guessing a Frank Bruno cameo this time around.
