I loved the John Carter books as a boy. They were written on a level that is rarely found in today’s visually oriented but verbally challenged culture. I have always loved science fiction and fantasy books, and it is great that today’s technology can finally recreate visually the images described in the pages of these great books. I look forward to studios such as Disney bringing to film other great science fiction and fantasy books of the past.

John Carter sounds boring… Look up Sinbad Rogue of Mars. It is a classic in the making due next year 2012. A must see. Word is they are planning big things for this film. To be a box office blockbuster. All we can do is wait.
