Van Damme Talks About Why He Didn’t Join the Expendables
During a recent press conference Jean-Claude Van Damme was asked why he allegedly turned down a role in Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming action extravaganza The Expendables, and he had this to say:
So there you have it, JCVD’s side of the story. Like many fans, I still think he should have taken a role in The Expendables regardless of the situation.
Written by, directed by, and starring Sylvester Stallone, The Expendables features Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Gary Daniels, with expected cameo appearances by Bruce Willis and the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Expendables is set for release on August 13 2010 and is definitely one of the most anticipated films of the year.
