Brand Spanking New Kick-Ass Trailer Hits!

To say we’re excited for Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass is to understate the matter slightly.

To be clear, after seeing the new trailer, released today, I was left in no doubt that Kick-Ass will be on every top ten list come the end of 2010. It is a geek paradise, and the trailer is cut so perfectly, hinting at the story of ordinary people suiting up and kicking all kinds of criminal ass with enough snippets of violence and comedy to tease the waiting hordes.

While this won’t be a Dark Knight deconstruction of masks and identity it looks to be the epitome of every comic book geek’s dream, told with a vicious energy and enough style to make it a sure-fire hit when it hits.
