The Queen Says ‘Make it So’ As Patrick Stewart Receives Knighthood

Many of you will know him for playing Xavier in the X-Men trilogy, others for his wonderful and long serving work in the Royal Shakespeare Company but for me, Patrick Stewart will always be Captain Jean-Luc Picard, the head honcho in the long running and arguably most successful Star Trek series, Star Trek: The Next Generation which also spawned four feature films with the same cast.

Hundreds of hours of my life (I dread to think how many but they were all worth it!) have been clocked up watching him say, the famous line ‘Make it So’. The Queen of England has acknowledged Stewart’s contribution to the entertainment industry in the latest honours list and this post is simply to express my delight for him and all his fans who read this site.
