Kick-Ass seems to be a film that people can’t wait to see. Currently the UK has no official distributor or release date but we’ll keep you informed on when that changes. Here’s the first trailer released for the movie whichis directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Mark Strong, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Moretz. It’s been released on Myspace where you can see it in HD or click play below. It’s released in the US 16th April.
Based on the comic by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., Kick-Ass tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.
