Kick Ass Poster Revealed

Today is officially Kick Ass day – not only did we get a glorious Teaser Trailer (available here) but we’ve also got a good look at the official poster, thanks to a hint from /Film.

The poster, in glorious Technicolor after the jump, is a simple and effective image, displaying the premise of the film, that is that our hero Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) has no superpowers. A failing that does not stop him from embarking on a life of crime-fighting, and as the poster shows, getting seven shades of superman beaten out of him.

If you’ve seen the trailer then the news that the UK is still waiting for a distributor may surprise you – Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic book looks like nothing else I’ve seen, and there is a stead buzz rising about this film.
