District 9 Concept Art

We here at HeyUGuys believe that Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp’s District 9 is one of the best films of 2009. You can find out what else we liked later on in the year when we review this years movies and then have a look at what’s coming up in 2010.

District 9 was one of our favourites for many reasons but two of those were the original style aliens and the awesome effects. To get from concept to realisation on the big screen is made much easier but the excellent graphic arts who deliver the concept art to the computer animators. TotalFilm have received images from their sister magazine, ImagineFX that show an idea of where the aliens and the Robocop esk machine came from.
