Following the news that Warner Bros. are planning on finally taking advantage of the huge catalogue of DC characters they hold the rights to, we thought that now would be a good time to look at ten possible adaptations they should be prioritising. After all, as Marvel Studios continue to build their cinematic universe with The Avengers and studios like Fox and Sony Pictures take advantage of high profile franchises like the X-Men and Spider-Man, DC really are falling behind! Many fans are hoping that Zack Snyder’s Batman Vs. Superman will be the start of more to come, but that is currently the only confirmed comic book movie release from Warner Bros. at this point and is still a little under two years away. 10. Justice League of America

We’ll get to the main Justice League team a little later in this list, but the Justice League of America are another superhero team that Warner Bros. should consider bringing to the big screen at some point in the near future. Assembled by A.R.G.U.S. and Steve Trevor to combat the Justice League, each member of the JLA is there to take down their counterpart (Martian Manhunter vs. Superman, Catwoman vs. Batman, etc.) in case they ever lose control. If this movie was released AFTER Justice League, it could lead to a crossover of sorts down the line in which the two teams do battle. In fact, if you throw in the Justice League Dark, we could even see something like the recent “Trinity War” crossover in the comics…
